The Piedmont region lies between Blue Ridge and the upper Coastal Plain. The Piedmont's boundary on the southeastern side is the Fall Line. Its is mostly full of metamorphisized sedimentary rocks. A lot of the Native Americans that moved to Georgia moved here about ten-thousand years ago. It has 2 of Georgia's 7 wonders and they are the Amicalola Falls and Stone Mountain.
The Appalachain Plateau is located in the Northwest corner of Georgia. It is also known as the "TAG Corner". The "TAG Corner is the one place where Tennesee, Georgia, and Alabama Meet.
The Ridge and Valley region is in between the Appalachian Plateau and the Blue Ridge region. It is mostly covered with sedimentary rock. Much of northwest Georgia lies within the Valley and Ridge province.
